Hah.
I know I've only been updating things about :EPOCH Files lately but there was an incident that happened this morning and I just had to share. I wanted to turn it into a comic but, there was just so many things that I wanted to say I had to turn it into a blog post that was similar to Books of Adam or Hyperbole and a Half. I want to apologize before hand because I'm still thoroughly coaxed with the adrenaline rush I had when I was having a death match with a wasp.
Yes. A wasp.
I got to work and started setting up the library. No one was there so I was doing my own thing, humming to myself. I started setting the newspapers and the thing about newspapers is that the ink is still fresh and it gets all over your hands. So I went to the pantry to wash up.
Then I met him. Gregory.
I've had experience with flying stingers. I was terrified. Still, I decided it was high time to nut up and stare the devil in the eye. (That and I also had to make several prints and it would be near impossible for me to do that with Gregory around.) So I grabbed a glass, ready to trap it.
Gregory knew what was coming... and so did I. He sped towards me and we engaged in battle.
Eventually, I decided I needed a bigger weapon and went for the cereal box and plastic bowl.
He doesn't stand a chance! I kept telling myself and with one swift swing of my arm, I slammed the bowl face down onto the counter.
It was over.
He doesn't stand a chance! I kept telling myself and with one swift swing of my arm, I slammed the bowl face down onto the counter.
It was over.
OR SO I THOUGHT!
Somehow, Gregory managed to escape my swift attack! I dove out of the way as I saw it's stinger glistening cruelly, ready to end me. I padded my sides for my phone, but it spilled out of my pocket when I dodged and it lay still on the carpeted floor.

I couldn't do this alone and I had dropped my only means of communication on No Man's Land. The battle continued and I found my chance when Gregory landed on the office door. I attacked again but somehow the devil managed to escape!
I rolled and ducked when I heard his vile wings fluttering above my head. I was pretty much going Navy Seal. It was a good thing that there was no one in the Office since it was a Sunday. God knows what would've happened if it was a Monday.

In any case, I had to act quickly. I broke into a dash and left the hallway, feinting turns and jumps as I shut the door to the Library, my home base.
I needed help. I could not do this alone. I summoned my boss, also known as The Domina. We were ready for Gregory. Armed with long weapons and thick shields (Albeit most of the time, I was using my boss as a human shield).

We went in ready and hungry for blood.... but Gregory was no where to be seen.

THAT WAS BECAUSE WE WALKED RIGHT INTO AN AMBUSH!

Despite that, we still somehow managed to corner him into a Pigeon Hole and taped the entrance shut. It was over. We were victorious. Our enemy was trapped and it was close to impossible to break free of a prison made of scotch tape.

The battle was won. We both went back to our posts and I called for help with removing Gregory from the pantry. The gardener came up with a long white towel and asked me to show him where Gregory was. I was a little reluctant to leave my trusty weapon behind when I went back into the pantry.

The Gardener (who I've been refereing to as The Mighty Grass Man) went in the pantry and in two seconds, ripped and tore off Gregory's prison. Everything happened so fast and I wasn't sure what happened next... But that was probably because when The Mighty Grass Man freed Gregory, I just booked it.

It was really over! The Mighty Grass Man did his job, waved bye to me and gave me a thumbs up as he disappeared behind the elavator doors.

I couldn't believe it... How could something so powerful and clever die just like that? I couldn't help but feel restless. It couldn't really be over could it?
A litte part of me still believes that Gregory survived the Might Grass Man's attact in that Pantry, and that somehow... he was watching us.

Closely.
